Yes we have code words we don’t want you to know. It might be for “crazy customer”, “constant returner”, “smelly customer” or “don’t waste your time with that one”.
An example might be…..”Do you have the Midnight Black pencil on you?” “Have you done your paperwork yet?” “Are we out of that SmootheBerry shade?”
When you hear the artist say something that just doesn’t sound quite right when you are trying to get help it could possibly be about you. The customers become regulars and we remember who is wasting our time and who isn’t. It’s our way of alerting our fellow co-workers of what they might have on their hands.
So respect and don’t be rude to your salesperson or artist so you won’t get “Coded”.
