Okay…. I knew that would get your attention. I just need to address this whole thing about bringing your dog to the department store when you go shopping. It used to be just service dogs were allowed in the store…..but now it seems that everyone is bringing their dogs in all sorts of different ways. The most popular being the “dog in the purse” style. Sometimes it freaks me out because honestly you don’t see the dog right away. You just think they have a purse. But one time I walked up to a lady to help her and her dog started barking and snarling at me. Seriously…..I think I’m not going to be able to help you no matter how much you tell me it’s okay and he won’t do anything. Dam right he’s not because I think I’ll just slither away and help the next dogless person. (Dogless just came up on spell check so I don’t even know if that’s a real word.
And awwww come one. What is this? Don’t think I haven’t seen these either. It’s supposed to be a freakin’ baby carrier. Seriously…..does your dog really need to come shopping with you? I mean I love dogs too. I have one. But I’m not going to take him everywhere I go. That is just not right in so many ways.
So yesterday this lady came in with one of these luggage roll abouts. Yes she unzipped it and out hopped her dog. And yes her dog was adorable and she made him jump back in and then she went along her way and I’m thinking “that poor dog has to be rolled around in the store just looking at everything and can’t get out to sniff or pee or anything that normal dogs just want to do.” It’s just weird.
One time someone actually brought their dog in while they were getting a makeover done. Just because I felt so sorry for the stinkin’ cute dog and thought it was torture for him to stay in the dog carrier I told her she could hold him in her lap while I did her makeover. Someone’s gotta love me.

No way!! Dogs aren’t showing up in stores around here yet that I know of… Then again, I live in the country so we’re always a year behind in the styles. So maybe dogs will be in next year. 😉 Great post!
